What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can remember settings, keep you signed in, measure visits or track you across sites for advertising. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels; this policy covers those too.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
zcl_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected each optional cookie category, so the banner does not reappear on every page. | Strictly necessary, first-party | 180 days |
The cookie is set only after you make a choice. It contains your category choices and the date, and nothing that identifies you.
Cookie categories
| Category | Status on this site | What it would cover |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Used (the consent cookie only) | Cookies the site cannot work properly without, such as remembering your cookie choice. They do not require consent. |
| Functional | Not used | Remembering optional preferences such as a default state. Nothing in this category is set today. |
| Analytics | Not used | Measuring visits and page performance. No analytics service is installed. |
| Advertising | Not used | Showing or measuring ads and tracking across sites. The site carries no advertising. |
The cookie banner still lets you choose each optional category, so your preference is on record and respected automatically if a service in that category is ever added. Any such service would be listed here before it is switched on, and it would load only after you accept its category.
Change or withdraw your consent
You can reopen your cookie settings at any time using the button below or the “Cookie settings” button in the footer of every page. Changes take effect immediately.
You can also delete the zcl_consent cookie in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again on your next visit.
Browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Blocking the consent cookie does not stop the site from working; the banner will simply reappear.
Other storage
The lookup tools keep the downloaded reference data in memory only while the page is open. They do not write it to cookies or local storage. Location coordinates, if you choose to share them, are never stored.
