ZIPCodeLookup.io is a free informational reference for U.S. ZIP codes and postal topics. It provides postal reference records, lookup tools and guides. It does not verify delivery addresses, provide official postal data or offer professional advice. The disclaimer explains these limits in detail.
Acceptable use
You may use the site and its tools for personal, educational and business purposes. You agree not to:
- Scrape or download the site in bulk in a way that degrades service for others, or bypass rate limits. The underlying postal data is available directly from GeoNames.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with the site's operation.
- Use the contact form to send spam, advertising, malware, abusive content or anything unlawful.
- Present the site's information as official USPS data or imply that we endorse you.
Intellectual property and data attribution
The site's design, text, guides, diagrams and code are protected by copyright and belong to the operator unless stated otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link to the source page.
Postal records are derived from GeoNames and remain subject to its Creative Commons Attribution license; if you reuse them, credit GeoNames. ZIP Code, ZIP+4 and USPS are trademarks of the United States Postal Service; other product names mentioned in guides belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Accuracy and your responsibility
We take care to present the data faithfully and to explain its limits, but reference data can be incomplete or out of date, reference points are approximate and county associations may not list every county a ZIP touches. You are responsible for checking information with an authoritative source (such as USPS for mailing addresses) before relying on it for shipping, legal, financial, insurance or other important decisions.
Third-party links and services
The site links to external websites such as USPS, the Census Bureau, HUD, OpenStreetMap and national postal operators. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement or an affiliation.
